THE ORIGIN STORY: "I DON'T DATE NOBODY'S UNCLE"

The union began with an unexpected setup via Keely’s nephew, Reece Smith. When the idea of dating Keely was first floated to Bozoma whose C-suite legacy spans Chief Marketing Officer roles at Netflix, Uber, and Endeavor, she greeted it with signature humor.

"Do I look like I date uncles? I don't date nobody's uncle," Bozoma laughed, recalling her initial skepticism.

Her inner circle quietly conducted a social media background check before she agreed to meet him. The decisive shift occurred on date number three. Facing an upcoming month-long trip to Ghana, Bozoma offered a spontaneous challenge: join her in West Africa. Keely didn't flinch. He booked a ticket and met her in Accra.

"You know how they say, 'If a man wanted to, he would'? This man really wanted to, and he did," Bozoma told Us Weekly.

For Keely, taking that flight was simple math: "It was a no-brainer for me. If you can travel together, that is a great way to find out whether or not you get along. We hit it off in Ghana."

Behind the formidable corporate persona, Bozoma found an unexpected sanctuary. "I am a strong woman... ambitious, and those things can be tough when you have to be so hard in the world," she shared. "Keely allows me to not have to fight. I don't have to be the big, tough girl all the time."

• Bozoma's Crown & Neckpieces: Bozoma’s look was anchored by a dramatic Tekua headpiece layered over her sculpted updo, embellished with golden Adinkra symbols (including Gye Nyame across her forehead). She wore multiple strands of heavy gold chest beads, oversized gold rings, and arm cuffs.
